On July 3, 2024, the City of Hollister published the revised Draft General Plan, Draft Climate Action Plan, and Draft Agricultural Preservation Program. The City encourages the community to review these plans and provide feedback to generalplan@hollister.ca.gov.

On October 24, 2024 at 6:00 pm, the Planning Commission will make a recommendation to the City Council about whether to certify the Final Environmental Impact Report and adopt General Plan 2040, the Climate Action Plan (CAP), and Agricultural Lands Preservation Program. Following the Planning Commission meeting, on November 19, 2024 at 4:00 pm, the City Council will hold the final public hearing for General Plan 2040, CAP, and Agricultural Preservation Program. At this hearing, the City Council will review any final revisions, receive public comments, and then consider certification of the EIR and adoption of the Plans.
